This little project started as bit of fun as I noticed a variety of vehicles on my travels covered with tarpaulins. I started to collect them, almost obsessively as I either noticed them or friends drew my attention to them. A while ago, I stopped actively seeking them out, but I continue to stumble upon them and cannot resist photographing them to add to this collection.

The reaction of others to the set has been fascinating, with people trying to guess the make of car or attributing personalities to the vehicles hiding beneath the covers. So we have "The Shy Car", "The Brazen Caravan" wearing a little off-the shoulder number, or the car that is reminiscent of a two year old covering his eyes with his hands and pretending to hide - I could go on........!
